in a sunny, sheltered location, away from the road on the West Lyn valley.
The thickly wooded hillside opposite is the boundary of the National Trust's
Watersmeet Estate. From here we watch the seasons change from the fresh greens
of early Spring to mellow autumnal tints at year's end. The only sound being
the West Lyn river, tumbling over rocks in its race down to Lynmouth and the
sea.
Beautiful location and friendly proprietors. You really have thought of everything to make this a special home from home. The food was great, especially the home-made bread. We hope to be back again soon. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay.
