Welcome to Pine Lodge

A warm welcome awaits you at Pine Lodge, a friendly and comfortable Victorian house set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful countryside of the West Lyn Valley. Offering guest parking on the same level as the front door, Pine Lodge is within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. Pine Lodge is ideally situated for exploring all that Exmoor and North Devon has to offer. Guests can enjoy walks to Watersmeet and Valley of Rocks. We are within an hour’s drive of the National Trust properties at Arlington, Dunster and the RHS Garden Rosemoor. Our first floor bedrooms are all ensuite and we can offer you a choice of ensuite with a shower or bath. Enjoy your breakfast in our charming dining room whilst watching the local birds and, if you are lucky, the Red Deer. We have a cosy guest lounge where you can find a range of local maps and information to help you plan your day. Whether you wish to walk and explore, run a marathon or simply seek a place to relax and unwind, here at Pine Lodge we will do what we can to help you make the most of your time in Lynton. Please note that Pine Lodge is on a steep hill at the top of a single track lane.

Pine Lodge’s car park is on the same level as the house, next to the front door. We have 5 guest spaces, one per room.

Please note Pine Lodge is a bed and breakfast for adults only. We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets anywhere on the property. 

Location 

Pine Lodge is located in Exmoor National Park, loved for its stunning scenery of coast and countryside and Exmoor ponies. Pine Lodge is around a 15 minute walk from the heart of Lynton perched 500 feet above the coastal town of Lynmouth. Enjoy stunning views, watch our visiting birds on the bird feeders and look out for red deer on the neighbouring hillsides.   

Walks from the door 

Leave the car in our car park and walk to Watersmeet, explore the Valley of Rocks or walk some of the Southwest Coastal Path. Ride the Cliff Railway to Lynmouth and stroll along the prom before enjoying a delicious cream tea. 

Dark skies 

Exmoor National Park has amazing dark skies and was Europe’s first Dark Sky Reserve.
