Welcome to our first blog. Here we hope to be able to bring you our news and updates. You may have spotted our wonderful home page banner is an artist’s impression of Pine Lodge. That artist is the very talented Leo Davey. Leo is based in Minehead and you can visit his studio/gallery at 24c Friday Street.

We have bats! Many of our guests are aware that we share our home with a number of these delightful little creatures. Indeed, we have often found guests in the dark, huddled round a window, watching their antics as they fly in and out our ‘bat cave’.

A rare afternoon off so we headed to Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum. This National Trust property is around a twenty minute drive from here. Arlington Court was built between 1820 and 1823 and it houses some fascinating exhibits collected by generations of the Chichester family.
